Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bread Baker to join our team. The Bread Baker will be responsible for preparing a wide variety of breads, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and bake different types of breads, including sourdough, baguettes, whole wheat, and specialty loaves. Follow recipes and maintain consistency in taste, texture, and appearance. Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, proofers, and dough dividers. Monitor baking process to prevent over- or under-cooking. Perform dough mixing, kneading, shaping, and scoring techniques. Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety standards (e.g., HACCP). Manage inventory and order ingredients as needed. Assist in developing new bread recipes and seasonal offerings. Work with the team to fulfill daily production goals. Conduct quality checks on ingredients and finished products.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Proven experience as a Bread Baker or similar role. Knowledge of artisan bread-making techniques. Ability to work early morning shifts. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Food handler certification is a plus. Ability to lift heavy bags of flour and baking trays. Passion for baking and creativity in recipe development.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with sourdough starters and long fermentation techniques. Familiarity with commercial ovens and mixers. Knowledge of food safety regulations. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Pay: RM1,700.00 per month
