Job Description

We are working with one of the world\xe2\x80\x99s leading global leader for energy transportation to fill a position for Business Development Manager (New Energy) to work at their office in Kuala Lumpur. Details of the role as follow:JOB SCOPE

• Manage and support business development activities including tendering, negotiation and contract management. Work closely with the technical team to ensure accurate and up-to-date information are presented to the prospective clients
• Research, evaluate and review prospective client\xe2\x80\x99s business requirements for any clean energy and decarbonization solutions to ensure the company\xe2\x80\x99s sustainable business growth and maximize company\xe2\x80\x99s profitability
• Collate and review information and prepare bidding documentation to ensure data accuracy and timely submission
• Maintain records and registers of business development activities to ensure team members are up to date with work progress
• Coordinate and facilitate regular meetings with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure constant flow of information
• Monitor, track, research and report related development in the business and political environment, national policies, market trends, emerging issues, threats and opportunities.

• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience with minimum 2 years in the capacity of Manager with considerable exposure in energy, maritime, offshore engineering or heavy engineering industry
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or commercial functions
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Economics, International Business, Finance, Logistics, Nautical Studies or other professional maritime qualifications e.g. Certificate of Competency Class 1.
• Candidates with MBA qualification will have added advantage
