About the role

This is an exciting contract opportunity for a Business Operation & Logistics Executive to join the dynamic team at CORETECH GMC SDN BHD based in Kulim Hi-Tech Park Kedah. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's business operations and logistics, playing a crucial part in driving the organization's success and to support the company's growth objectives.

What you'll be doing

Present the company profile, handle customer inquiries and complaints, manage outstanding payments from customers, and build strong relationships with both new and existing clients. Identify new sales opportunities, prepare quotations and contracts, and work toward achieving monthly sales targets. Conduct market analysis to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities. Prepare worksheets and sales invoices according to sales records, and maintain documentation accurately. Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports and updates to management. Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers on pricing, quality, and terms, and resolve any delivery or product-related issues. Monitor stock levels, arrange logistics for sales, and prepare complete import/export documentation to avoid delays and stock shortages. Ensure all procurement and sales activities comply with company policies, e-Invoicing standards, and Sales and Service Tax (SST) regulations. Maintain accurate records of sales and purchasing transactions, and update ERP or Excel systems for real-time tracking. Liaise with cross-functional teams to coordinate the flow of materials, information, and resources throughout the organization Manage business development and business intelligence activities to support strategic sales growth and improve decision-making. Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute strategic business plans Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction Analyze data and generate reports to provide insights and support decision-making Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and internal policies Perform additional procurement-related tasks and responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in a sale and logistic or shipping role within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry Candidates must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent Have good knowledge in ISO 9001, 14001 and ISO 45001 Established connections with specialty gas companies or Semiconductor companies Professional knowledge of logistics and Incoterms (e.g., FOB, CIF, DDP), along with relevant hands-on experience Strong negotiation and customer service skills with the ability to build long-term relationships Proficient in shipping management and logistic operations Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements
