Capex Engineer
Job Description
CAPEX Engineer plays important role in implementation of new plant/facility, improvement/modification to existing facility with structured approach of project life cycle from problem statement/definition, design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, training and handover to operation and maintenance team.
In the scope of yearly CAPEX plan elaboration : Studies industrial projects ( parts of plant) based on the expression of the need; Pre-study with optimized solution leading to a technical specification and a budget,
Implementation of the projects agreed in the yearly CAPEX plan, from design to construction,
Scope: engineering (C&S, mechanical) , supervision of construction, support of commissioning,
Phases of engineering: Flow Sheets, Lay out, Conceptual design, basic design, detailed design, shop drawings ( part of them can be subcontracted to external consultancy)
Works in partnership with the electrical / automation department for the projects, and civil & structural works specialists,
Preparation of Request For Quotation (RFQ), analyze of the offers with procurement department
Implementation of CAPEX projects by respecting the budgets / schedules / quality & SHE standards of Lhoist,
Supports the plants for major maintenance or unexpected mechanical issues,
Adhere to and share a \xe2\x80\x9csafety first\xe2\x80\x9d attitude, whether within or outside of Lhoist.
