Make recommendations based on internal and external factors to minimize risks and formulate plans to achieve interim and strategic goals for the FRC, and to support the Retail Banking Division overall growth. Key Responsibilities: Strategy and Planning Utilize data insights across the various workstreams' controls and processes to develop best in practice fraud mitigation and deterrence strategies Evaluate existing fraud risk management framework to provide oversight and support on continuous review / detection of potential gaps relating fraud controls within FRC CoE Ownership of continuous refinement of fraud rules within the detection and monitoring systems Consolidate regular reports from other circles and circulate to internal / external parties accordingly and Collaborate with Regulatory / Law Enforcement Agencies, to ensure that all timely coverage on incidents of actual/potential exposure to Bank is managed/contained. Develop Fraud Response Plan Support development of overall fraud strategy based on fraud trends and data collected from other circles in the CoE. Diagnose Vulnerability to Fraud Participate in gathering of relevant fraud data and mining it for patterns, discrepancies and anomalies. Derive insights in order to develop fraud prevention strategies for the bank. Detect Gaps in Fraud Controls Perform study and ongoing assessment of the existing frameworks, processes and checklists in the other circles to identify areas of improvement in the CoE Participate in fraud rule refinement within the detection and monitoring systems Assist circles to prepare reporting to internal and external parties (e.g. BNM, Group Compliance, Group Operational Risk Management) and Continuous Periodic Assessments: Quality Assurance, Self-Assessments, Training & Awareness. Requirements Requirements: Bachelor Degree - . - . Chartered Banker (preferred). Certification in Regulatory Compliance (preferred). Certified Fraud Examiner (preferred) Min 10 years' experience within the financial/banking industry, with wide exposure in areas of Retail Banking, Payment Operations and Risk Management. Good understanding of banks products and services Knowledgeable in banking laws and regulations. Excellent written and communication skills. Good ability to research and analyze information.
