  • Diploma/ Degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of channel sales experience, with a proven track record in sales.
  • Ability to build strong relationship quickly and effectively.
  • Strong negotiation/ persuasion skills.
  • General computer literacy.
  • Problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Must possess own transport.
REMUNERATION PACKAGES:
  • Basic: RM 4,500 to RM 7,500, depending on experience plus Commissions
  • RM800 for petrol and RM200 for phone (on claim basis)
  • EPF, SOCSO, EIS

Notes:
  • This is a replacement role.
  • Hybrid for the time being.
  • Current team size is 15 people.
  • No direct reports to manage, incumbent will be an individual contributor.
1 to 2 interviews , can be online or F2F. * Must have channel sales experience, either with the Principal (Vendors), Systems Integrator (SI) or IT Distributor companies.
  • A channel sales strategy involves using partners and third parties\xe2\x80\x94such as referral partners, affiliate partners, wholesalers, distributors, managed service providers, marketplaces or value-added resellers\xe2\x80\x94to sell your products or services (to put it simply, it is a sales strategy in which a parent company sells products through another company).
Scopes:

Position: Channel Sales Manager
Location: Petaling Jaya

The Channel Sales Manager need to maintain and expand the relationship with assigned channel partners. He/ She is responsible for achieving the sales quota, increase profitability and meet the objectives set. This role represents their Business Unit and is also responsible to promote all offerings to the assigned partners and ensure customer needs & expectations are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Report to the Senior Manager, Channel Sales and work closely with Order Entry, Order Margin, Freight Management, Purchasing & Warehousing, Customer Service and Quote Team.
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with assigned partners to build business.
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.
  • Proactively assess, clarify and validate partner needs on an ongoing basis to stay current with latest developments in marketplace and competitor activities.
  • Manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales and identify new business opportunities to meet sales goals.
  • Drive adoption of company programs, communicate up-to-date information about new products and enhancement to partners.
  • Achieve assigned sales quota in designated partner accounts.
  • Evaluate partner sales performance and recommend improvements.
  • Complete partner account plans that meet company standards.
  • Maintain high partner satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
  • Works closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
  • Exhibit a high level of professionalism and interpersonal skills at all times.
