Key responsibilities will involve:

• Managing sales channels including distributors and other resellers
• Key account management of end-users (research scientists and doctors) and performing a strong scientific selling approach
• Market access and expansion, including collaborating with high-level stakeholders in government and industry
• Driving marketing activities for product awareness and providing marketing support for distributors
• Working closely with internal marketing and product management teams to improve product branding
• Market research and competitor analysis
• Achieving overall yearly commercial revenue targets

The Successful Applicant

Key requirements include:

• Bachelor\'s degree in biotechnology, biomedical science, medicine, or a related scientific discipline is a requirement for this role
• Extensive experience in laboratory and life science sales. Having a strong background in molecular diagnostics will be highly beneficial for this role
• Prior distributor or channel sales management experience
• Ability to build and maintain key relationships and improve business partnering
• Willingness to travel throughout Malaysia and occasionally, the SEA region
• Proven sales track record and a history of strong commercial results
