JOB TITLE: CHEF DE PARTIE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : \xc2\xb7 Plan and execute menus in collaboration with other colleagues \xc2\xb7 Ensure adequacy of supplies at all times \xc2\xb7 Place orders in a timely manner \xc2\xb7 Manage ingredients that should be frequently available on a daily basis \xc2\xb7 Follow the directions of the executive and sous chef \xc2\xb7 Suggest new ways of presentation of dishes \xc2\xb7 Suggest new rules and procedures for optimizing the cooking process \xc2\xb7 Give attention productivity of the kitchen such as speed and food quality \xc2\xb7 Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety and hygiene standards \xc2\xb7 Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards. \xc2\xb7 Responsible to supervise junior chefs or commis \xc2\xb7 Carry out any other duties as required by management REQUIREMENTS : \xc2\xb7 At least A Diploma in Culinary Arts, or in Food and Beverage and any related field. \xc2\xb7 Minimum of 5 years working experience in Food & Beverage Industry \xc2\xb7 Required Skills: MS Office, MS Power point, POS systems \xc2\xb7 Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (verbal and written) \xc2\xb7 Highly creative \xc2\xb7 Good knowledge in Food and Beverage industry \xc2\xb7 Passionate about F&B career and keen to advance his/her managerial experience \xc2\xb7 Able to work long hours, weekends and Public Holidays. \xc2\xb7 Strong leadership and communication skills. \xc2\xb7 Able to work independently with minimum supervision. \xc2\xb7 Confident, dynamic and creative \xc2\xb7 Self-driven and result oriented.
