Culinary Excellence and Production
: Oversee the daily preparation and cooking of all menu items, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to established recipes and presentation standards. Supervise the cooking line during service hours, ensuring proper timing, portion control, and plate presentation.
Kitchen Management and Leadership
: Foster a positive, cooperative, and high-performance working environment in the back of the house. Conduct regular performance reviews and address staff disciplinary issues when necessary.
Safety and Sanitation
: Enforce strict adherence to all local health codes, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas, equipment, and storage facilities.
Collaboration
: Work closely with Waiter & Waitress staff and other servers to ensure efficient operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
Previous experience as a Chef, is required.
Knowledge:
Deep understanding of culinary techniques, local and western cuisines, and kitchen management best practices.
Leadership:
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
Certifications:
Current food handler certification or equivalent.
Attitude:
A positive, energetic, food and customer-focused attitude is essential.
