About our Client
Our client is an up and coming FMCG/Retail business with a strong consumer base in Malaysia with a robust expansion plans for 2024 and beyond. They have steadily increased their market share over their competitors in recent years and is poised for a successful entry into new segments within the industry. They are now looking for a strategic finance person to be join their team as a CFO.

Responsibilities
This CFO is part of the senior leadership team and will oversee the finance function, leading a medium-sized team. You will also work closely with and support the owners and management of the business in driving the company\'s expansion plans in the coming years which includes various corporate exercises and the offering of new product ranges. You will need to ensure strong financial controls through the implementation of new processes as part of their continuous effort for improvement. This role will also be involved in projects that the company will be undertaking.

Skills and Experience Required
To succeed in this role, you will need at least 12 years experience in a progressive role within this field, in FMCG/Retail/F&B industry. You will also need a relevant Degree and ideally professional accounting membership such as ICAEW/ACCA/CPA. Experience handling mergers and acquisitions and IPO would give you a competitive edge as well as the ability to manage various stakeholders due to the high visibility status of this role.
