Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled

Chinese Language Translator

to support our communication and content needs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating written and verbal content between

Chinese (Simplified/Traditional)

and

English or Bahasa Malaysia

, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance. This role is important in helping to bridge the communications gap with local talent.

Key Responsibilities

Translate documents, messages, marketing materials, and platform content between Chinese and English/Bahasa Malaysia. Ensure translated content maintains the original tone, context, and intent. Localize content to suit Malaysian Chinese cultural nuances. Review existing translations for accuracy and make improvements. Work closely with customer service, marketing, and operations teams to support Chinese-speaking users. Maintain strict confidentiality of all content and materials.

Requirements

Proficiency in

Chinese (Simplified and/or Traditional)

,

English

, and/or

Bahasa Malaysia

. Prior experience in translation, copywriting, or linguistic work is an added advantage. Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate translations. Good communication skills and ability to handle tight deadlines. Understanding of Malaysian-Chinese culture and context is preferred. Ability to translate both formal and conversational content.
