Civil Engineer
Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner. \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other). \xe2\x80\xa2 Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assess potential risks, materials and costs. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies \xe2\x80\xa2 Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders. \xe2\x80\xa2 Handle over the resulting structures and services for use. \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor progress and compile reports in project status. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials. \xe2\x80\xa2 Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required. Requirement: \xe2\x80\xa2 A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree holder in civil engineering or equivalent. \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum 2 years of working experience as civil engineer. \xe2\x80\xa2 Project management and supervision skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong communication and interpersonal skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to coordinate more than one project at a time.
