A leading oil and gas exploration and production company is our client. They are looking for a "Senior Civil Engineer."

Contract 2 Year - Open for Malaysian only.

• Conduct, supervise, and verify the civil/site preparation work for the onshore gas plant, as well as the site survey, soil investigation survey, soil lab test, engineering reviews, and contractor and vendor deliverable approvals.

• Make sure that the civil/site preparation work is carried out in accordance with the relevant contract(s), specifications, design codes, standards, legislation, and regulations, project quality, and HSE plans during the execution of FEED and site preparation work.
• In the appropriate discipline, develop tender specifications, ensure that all scopes are accurately captured in the contract requirements for the following stage, and support the tendering team through the bidding process until award.
• Participate in the EPCC bidding process by developing and reviewing the scope of the civil and site preparatory work, aiding with the tender\'s clarification and evaluation, and supporting the bidding process up until the award.

• Address any relevant technical issues, queries, alterations, or conflicts between relevant engineering deliverables.

• In order to guide construction and make sure all project milestones are met, examine and monitor contractors\' project timelines, plans, and execution.
• As a Civil Discipline (Site Preparation) Focal Point, you must: Coordinate with other disciplines; Participate in technical review meetings like HAZID, ALARP, Constructability, Project Technical Review (PTR), etc.
• Monitor any civil engineering issues that arise on job sites and take action as soon as feasible to ensure a smooth completion of site preparation work.

• Bachelor\'s degree in civil engineering or a related field
• A master\'s degree in civil engineering is advantageous but not required.
• A professional certificate issued by accredited bodies or associations is an advantage but not necessary.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Onshore Site Preparation Work for gas plants, petrochemicals, refineries, and major infrastructure or building construction projects with a proven track record in Site construction and P project management and execution.
• A minimum of 5 years\' experience in the onshore construction field as a field civil engineer or in a higher position is required.
• Previous experience with site preparation and work execution for Onshore gas plant, petrochemical, or refinery projects
• Experience as a Company Site Representative and/or field engineer during site construction for major projects is preferable.
• Proficient in site surveys, soil investigation surveys, and soil lab tests is preferable
