Job Description


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Processing claims in accordance to company policy and practice.
  • Provide advice, sound judgment and recommendation on case that surpasses the authorized authority.
  • Provide advice with appropriate referrals/escalations as and when needed.
  • Ensure claims recommendations and decisions are complied with legal requirements, industry regulations, company policies and professional codes.
  • Follow up with adjuster/surveyor/expert/solicitor for the status of the claims including timely update provision of reserve.
  • Ensuring fair and expeditious settlement of a valid claim in accordance to policy conditions.
  • Liaising with respective personnel in charge for claim matters, settlements, recoveries, and subrogation.
  • Ensure internal customer requests / inquiries for retrieval of claim documents are well attended on timely manner.
  • Provide technical support on Actuarial/Underwriting operation as and when required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Preferably with at least 3-5 years of experience in handling general claims.
  • General knowledge of the insurance / reinsurance industry.
  • Ability to handle the related claims independently.
  • High learning agility and work efficiency.
