One of our direct clients has an exciting opportunity for you to work with a high-visibility global social media platform client as a Cloud Deployment Operations Engineer / Linux System Admin in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Cloud Deployment Engineer / Linux System Admin Location - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Summary Linux Systems Administrator / Engineer with over 6 years of experience in maintenance of servers, user management, package management, troubleshooting, networking, storage and security. Proficient in automation with Ansible and Cloud Formation. Proficient in AWS services like VPC, EC2, S3, ELB, RDS, IAM, Cloud Watch, NAT GW. Orchestrated containerized applications using Docker and managed container orchestration with Kubernetes for scalable and resilient deployments. Expertise with Linux day to day operations and provided On-call Support for troubleshooting Linux OS and performance issues. Experience with AWS services such as Autos calling, CloudFront, Cloud Formation, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, EC2, ELB, IAM, S3, and VPC BASH scripting experience Worked on creating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, automating the end-to-end deployment process and reducing deployment time by 30%. Experience with Configuring Load balancer and High Availability for Linux machines. Collaborated with development and operations teams to optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive monitoring solutions. Hands on Experience with provisioning Storage volumes and Zoning. Experienced with creating Port groups, datastores and using storage adapters. Good team player with proficiency at time management, multitasking, able to meet deadlines and handle priorities. Implemented and maintained infrastructure as code (IaC) practices, utilizing tools like Ansible and Chef. Worked on terraform to create infrastructure in cloud and On Prem.
