Summary You will be responsible for the efficient running of Marketing Communications department for Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur and Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur in line with Hyatt International\'s Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting associate, guest and owner expectations. Reporting to the Directors of Sales and Marketing, the Cluster Director of Marketing Communications will be responsible for planning and implementing properties\' marketing strategies, which includes brand awareness initiatives, F&B marketing, destination marketing, loyalty program marketing, social media content, communications and public relations efforts, so as to support the marketing objectives for the hotel and maximize the hotels\' positive exposure in local, national and international markets. Develop, proactively manage and implement the annual cluster marketing plan to include brand, digital and loyalty marketing within the budget guidelines. Oversee the execution of all promotional activities, whether local, regional or global, across all available channels, ensuring brand adherence and effectiveness. Be the brand custodian ensuring all collateral conforms to agreed brand standards and content is compliance of corporate guidelines and within budget guidelines across all marketing activities, including but not limited to the brand websites and third party channels. Responsible for measuring the success of all marketing activities, promotions and campaigns, and producing performance reports for all key stakeholders like monthly brand website performances via Omniture tracking, social media analytics, F&B promotion revenue generated, third party F&B collaborations, Hyatt Restaurant reports, paid social media and digital marketing campaigns. Lead effective content management across all available channels, including brand website, OTAs, social media, mobile marketing and partnership programs Ensure sales and F&B teams receive adequate marketing support, and ensure collateral requirements are met. Develop and manage all social media activities for the cluster and support departmental initiatives. Responsible for building a coherent social media strategy for the hotel and its outlets. Responsible for the overall reputation management, guide the operations teams with responding and handling guest complaints. Respond to customer postings on social media as appropriate, tackling any complaints and issues, ensuring 100% response rate and high rankings on third party review channels. Conduct continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends, and use findings to continuously evaluate and drive commercial success. Qualifications Due to Work Permit restrictions, applications are only open for Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Malaysia. Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Marketing or Communication. Work experience in a demonstrable marketing role with excellent conceptual, writing, oral and presentation skills. Experience with planning, developing, and implementing marketing communications activities, including developing communications plan, strategy, messages, media and tactics as part of the hotel campaigns. Excellent team player with good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are essential. Analytical, performance-driven, creative and meticulous with data.
