Job Description


As the Commercial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales and marketing strategies of PS Global Sdn Bhd. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive plans to effectively promote our fertilizers and R&D services, expand our customer base, and achieve revenue targets. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the agriculture industry, strong leadership abilities, and a strategic mindset to ensure the company\'s continued success and market leadership. Responsibilities Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration in the agriculture sector. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, and utilize the findings to refine sales and marketing strategies. Lead and motivate a high-performing sales and marketing team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management to achieve individual and team goals. Collaborate with the R&D team to effectively communicate the value proposition of our fertilizers and innovative research solutions to potential clients. Develop and implement marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, trade shows, Exhibitions, and targeted advertising. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders, leveraging partnerships to drive business growth and brand recognition. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and strategic alliances, to expand market reach and drive revenue. Monitor and analyze sales and marketing metrics, generating regular reports to evaluate performance, identify areas for improvement, and propose corrective actions. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting the agriculture sector, incorporating relevant knowledge into sales and marketing strategies.\' Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales and marketing plans. Preparing annual budget plans, scheduling expenditures, and ensuring that the sales team meets their quotas and goals. Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement. Assists ad hoc duty and other task as assigned by Directors from time to time. Qualifications A Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required. An advanced degree is preferred. Proven track record of success in sales and marketing roles within the agriculture industry, with a strong understanding of fertilizer products and research and development. Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve targets and drive results. In-depth knowledge of sales and marketing principles, strategies, and tactics specific to the agriculture industry. Experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns, utilizing various channels and media. Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights. Proficiency in using CRM software, marketing automation tools, and data analytics platforms. Proactive and results-oriented, with a focus on achieving revenue growth and business objectives. Passion for the agriculture industry and a genuine interest in sustainable farming practices and technologies. Minimum 8 years experience in people management or leadership role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders. Ability to converse in multiple languages.
