JOB DESCRIPTION:The Commercial Excellence Director is a member of the ANIMY leadership team, providing strategic planning, analytic excellence, and forecasting to the commercial team. The Director will work closely with other MY functional heads, the GM, and the Asia Pacific leadership to ensure robust commercial plans driven by insight and data rigour.ResponsibilitiesAnalytics and ForecastingPerform complex business and financial analysis (e.g., customer segmentation, marketing ROI, customer promotion responsiveness, etc.) that yields actionable insights that increase market share, sales and marginIdentify key business questions/issues, formulate hypotheses, collect data necessary to evaluate the hypotheses, perform analysis and summarize conclusions/ recommendations with minimal guidanceSupport ANI Malaysia GM in the development and delivery of business reviewsUtilize data and market intelligence to lead and enhance the demand planning process; track and report actuals, explaining variances versus forecastWork with IT to create and deploy data systems that enable data literacy across the organization and improve the productivity of the sales and marketing teamsSalesforce effectivenessReview landscape dynamics and ensure that our sales team is best structured to drive maximum effectiveness and productivity.Partner with Trade and Ethical Directors to establish appropriate key performance indicators for actionable insightsPublishes reports and share insights to local management team monthlyPartners with sales directors to develop meaningful training programs for the whole sales team, track progress and put in place remediation measures, key to drive continued growth of sell-out/off-take.Qualifications/ Experience:Bachelor of Science in business or economics required; MBA from top-tier school preferredProven leader with minimum 10 years post-MBA, in the healthcare and consulting experience required (e.g., Bain, BCG, Booz & Company, McKinsey etc)High preference for candidates with prior exposure/experience in retail/fast- moving consumer goods.High-energy, self-starter that is assertive, possesses a high degree of self-confidence and intellectual curiosity, exhibits a bias for action, demonstrates good executive presence, and can deliver in meeting deadlines and objectivesOutstanding strategic planning and analytical skills\xe2\x80\x94proven ability to identify/define business questions and issues, synthesize information from multiple sources, conduct analysis, formulate actionable recommendations and recommend a point-of-view to senior managementInnovative and creative\xe2\x80\x94demonstrated ability to leverage consumer insights to identify and evaluate creative ideas, focusing on those that will create sustainable competitive advantageExceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, the sales force and customers.Strong project management skills, with proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently under aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and quick recallStrong working knowledge of accounting, finance and statistics concepts (i.e., ROI, P&L)Advanced knowledge of and experience using Microsoft PowerPoint and ExcelPossess high-level of integrity & no previous issues on compliance.The base pay for this position is N/AIn specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.JOB FAMILY: Sales Support & AdministrationDIVISION: ANI International NutritionLOCATION: Malaysia
