Job Description

Commis 2 is a culinary position, typically an intermediate-level role in a kitchen brigade, where the individual performs food preparation, basic cooking, and plating under the guidance of more senior chefs.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation

: Chopping, peeling, portioning, and storing fresh ingredients.

Cooking Assistance

: Performing basic cooking tasks and preparing dishes as directed.

Mise en Place

: Organizing and preparing all necessary ingredients and equipment before cooking.

Plating

: Assisting with the presentation and plating of dishes to meet standards.

Kitchen Maintenance

: Ensuring the kitchen is clean, organized, and adheres to hygiene and safety standards.

Teamwork

: Collaborating with other kitchen staff and senior chefs to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications



Good personality

. Able to communicate well in bahasa and English

. Friendly to customer

. Must have 2 years of experience in hotels industry

. Punctuality

. Hard working

. Able to commute to guests

Able to Understand the policy of the company

. Able to work shifts

. Able to work under pressure

. Able to sustain and maintain the standards on working areas

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
