Position Title : Commodity Buyer
Tenure: Permanent
Remuneration: RM3,000 - RM6,000
Responsibilities
- To support the manufacturing operation through effective management of the material supply chain, meeting / exceeding commitments to delivery, quality and cost
- Release and monitor status of POs issued, manage PPV and excess.
- Work closely with suppliers on supply chain issues, cost reduction, lead time improvement.
- Work closely with other department on purchasing requirements.
- FAI Management
- Possess the ability to multitask and response to a dynamic environment
- Absolute integrity is a must
- Possess good people skills and self motivating
- Possess highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- Thorough working knowledge of MRP functionality and experience in ERP systems will be highly regarded
- Understand and comply to Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management system (EMS) as well as Safety Requirements
- Candidate must possess Formal Qualifications to Degree Level or within the supply chain field
