Client Background: EMS industry Industry : Manufacturing Location: Johor Bahru Headcount: 1 Position Title : Commodity Buyer Tenure: Permanent Remuneration: RM3,000 - RM6,000 Responsibilities To support the manufacturing operation through effective management of the material supply chain, meeting / exceeding commitments to delivery, quality and cost Release and monitor status of POs issued, manage PPV and excess. Work closely with suppliers on supply chain issues, cost reduction, lead time improvement. Work closely with other department on purchasing requirements. FAI Management Requirement Possess the ability to multitask and response to a dynamic environment Absolute integrity is a must Possess good people skills and self motivating Possess highly developed verbal and written communication skills Thorough working knowledge of MRP functionality and experience in ERP systems will be highly regarded Understand and comply to Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management system (EMS) as well as Safety Requirements Candidate must possess Formal Qualifications to Degree Level or within the supply chain field
