about the role Lead the Compensation & Benefits vertical for the region. Act as a subject matter expert to the business giving the strategic focus Act as an internal consultant to the regional Hr team Act as an Information gatherer : listening , understanding, interpreting and analyzing the business needs and requirements Facilitate as a change agent by adopting new innovative practices and help meet the HR objectives by meeting the challenges of attraction, retention and motivation Re engineer the processes and keep an eye on the budgets and the cost implications by taking a cost effective approach for implementation Ensure that we reward employees for their results, behavior, knowledge, competence and performance Delivering business results through the attraction and retention of workforce by designing competitive, innovative, merit-based, up-to-date and non-discriminatory compensation and benefits programs that recognizes and rewards employees\' contributions and achievements. Contribute to the development and implementation of compensation and benefits policies and procedures to meet competitive and equity objectives as determined by senior management. To act as a link between the global compensation / global benefits team and the regional Hr team. Represents the APAC region for all C&B related matters and is the SPOC on a regional level for the global C&B team for all initiatives or routine transactional activities Work closely with the regional hr team in all countries in APAC on location specific requirements and work out solutions for them. Provide subject matter consultancy in terms of addressing issues with regards to C&B Keep close track of data by maintaining Dashboards and HC Reports on a monthly basis Provide assistance to HR project office role and effectively contribute in other HR areas apart from C&B (as needed) about you Experience : 6 to 8 years (in C&B vertical) Desired skills/knowledge strong experience in the main fields of compensation such as salary benchmarking, reporting and dashboards, variable pay plans, and mobility) multicounty experience in compensation, preferably in a multinational matrix organization excellent analytical skills and number crunching ability strong influencing, negotiation and communication skills maturity to handle complex and difficult situations / persons strong presentation and articulation skills (very good written and oral communication skills -clear, concise and a logical thought process) ability to work under pressure ability to multi task and wear different hats strong self-starter, motivator and team player business partnership and networking skills additional information department Human Resources & Employee Exp
