Freehand Artist/Illustrator

s:

Create and produce high-quality illustrations and graphics for a variety of mediums, including print, digital, and presentations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop creative solutions Develop and maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, techniques, and software Create and maintain a library of graphics and illustrations for reuse in future projects Ensure all designs and illustrations are delivered on time and to the highest standards Design logos, book covers, background, posters, bookcases, brochures, advertisements, etc. Revise diagrams as necessary to suit project. search references from photographs, diagrams or illustrations from books, magazines, newspaper and etc. Output and check films. Test and adjust colors for printing. Back-up own completed job and work done daily. Perform ad-hoc tasks related to the department.

Job Requirements:

Applicant must have a Degree, Diploma or Sijil Kemahiran in Graphics Design/ Illustration/ Animation or related field. Applicant should have at least 1-2 years experience, however, fresh graduate will also be considered. Applicant must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & Indesign for illustration & design task. Applicant must be proficient in English & Mandarin to create illustration artwork and designs for English or Mandarin projects. Working hours: Full-time in office, Monday to Friday, 8.00AM to 5.30PM. Selected applicant will work at Penerbitan Pelangi, Taman Pelangi, Johor Bahru, Johor.
