• To ensure the Contractor complies with the accepted QA/QC procedures with proper documentations.
• To ensure the Contractor complies with the Specifications and Drawings.
• To be the quality focal point on quality inspection and keeping quality records.
• To ensure the Contractor executes the works in accordance with good engineering practice and regulatory requirements.
• To supervise material testing, field quality control test and laboratory tests.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly/QC reports to Engineer/Line Manager.
• To ensure defective work, non-conformance,
• Collaborate with PD support divisions in risk management, interfacing management, permitting matter, HSSE matter, schedule management, quality management, etc.

THINKING ENVIRONMENT & CHALLENGES (PROBLEM-SOLVING):

• To acquire and apply knowledge and skills in new areas in short period of time.
• To work within stringent datelines, budget, and multiple project packages.
• High levels of technical knowledge, skill and experience are required to deal with complex issues of the project.
• Able to communicate effectively at Project Site, with contractors from various technical and cultural backgrounds.
• Knowledge in Safety, Health, and Environment (HSE) requirements.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE (KNOW-HOW):

• Relevant technical certificate holder in construction industry and/or
• Diploma or bachelor\'s degree in civil engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of construction supervision and quality control experience.
• Experience in JKR quality control guidelines will serve as an advantage.
• Computer literate i.e., Microsoft Office Tools, Autocad, etc.
• Skill in operating Autocad will serve as an advantage.
• Good communication skill in both English and Mandarin will serve as advantage.
• Full time and based in Samalaju CCPP project site.
