• To ensure the health and safety of sustainability policies & legislations are adhered to.
• Provide technical advice and solving problem at site.
• Access road planning for the existing transmission line.
• Slope protection works for existing transmission line.
• To coordinate the final inspection of relevant project.
• To coach and lead a team of technicians and engineers to supervise the construction of projects.
• To assist the manager to ensure proper execution of projects, which include preparation of implementation schedules, arrangement of meeting, and preparation of minutes of meeting, monitoring project progress, preparing progress report and certifying project progress claim/ payment.
• To perform project engineering tasks including assisting Project Controls in scheduling work, time/ cost management and risk management.
• To preform quality control (checking of detail design and drawings, equipment testing and inspection).
• To liaise with various government authorities, councils and contractors on project related matters.
• Involve in tendering process including influencing and ensuring that effective tendering is attained within the context of policy and regulation.

THINKING ENVIRONMENT & CHALLENGES (PROBLEM-SOLVING):

• Managing internal and external stakeholder, i.e. Asset Owners, Authorities bodies, Consultants and Contractors.
• Meeting project timelines and able to handle any land & wayleave challenges faced during the project execution phase.
• Able to assist the Project Manager to lead the team at remote project site, with limited access to tele-communication.
• Knowledgeable in project management and project planning skill in order to manage the projects and oversee the important resources using available time management and budgeting.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE (KNOW-HOW):

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 to 10 years of relevant work experience in Project Management of construction projects in the areas of strategic planning, risk management, change.
