SCOPE OF SERVICES:

• To formulate new, or review and update current policies and guidelines related to customer connection to distribution grid system, e.g.: Connection Charges Guidelines, Application for Supply Handbook, Guidelines and Policies for Projects under Turnkey basis etc., as and when necessary
• To process application related to 33kV infrastructure such as substation site enquiry, project estimate, turnkey project etc.
• Engagement with external stakeholders viz., government agency, on matter regarding new government initiatives, improvement/ investigation on grid system performances, supply connection process, asset relocation and wayleave issues.
• To coordinate with internal stakeholders viz., all regions, on Distribution Project Progress monitoring, CAPEX management, Job Safety Analysis and System Performance monitoring.
• To carry out audit to regional offices on annual basis on the implementation of Connection Charge Guidelines.
• To support and assists with ombudsmen team with regards to appeal for connection charges reduction.
• To assist and support Distribution Planning unit on Planning Studies and Technical Engineering works. To process application related to new interconnection of Distributed Resources to Distribution Grid System.
• The custodian for Distribution Planning and Services Database System and Distribution Portal and to support the development/ enhancement of ECX program, as and when necessary.
• Undertake such other duties relating to the function and objective of the Division as may be directed by the super.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE (KNOW-HOW):

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree.
• Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia.
• Professional Engineer (Advantage).
• Minimum of two years working experiences relevant to planning and application of electricity supply
• Familiar with the planning criteria, connection charges guidelines and the turnkey supply guidelines.
• Working experience at Sarawak Energy\'s regional office is an added advantage.
