SCOPE OF SERVICES:

  • To perform overall material stock control and monitoring for Central Store and all Regional Stores. By performing proper control and monitoring, thus ensuring good turnover and availability of material.
  • To calculate and determine inventory triggers/points for Central Store and all Regional Stores ie. safety stock, reordering point, maximum level.
  • To plan for stock ordering through Material Requirements Planning, MRP, which involves tasks such as:
(a) generate listing of material requirement from projects for the specific purchasing window
(b) coordinate review exercise with project officers (Regional Office) to confirm material type, quantity, requirement date for projects
(c) consolidate all information and plan material purchases
  • To perform stock monitoring through weekly/bi-weekly inventory review and plan for stock ordering.
  • To prepare list of proposed requisitions after MRP and Inventory Review, for review by Manager and upon his/her agreement, to raise Purchase Requisition in SAP to procuring divisions (Distribution Procurement and Contract Division).
  • To provide estimates tender/contract quantity to procuring team (DPC, Category Management Division) upon request.
  • To monitor and ensure orders are timely delivered by communication with procuring divisions and suppliers.
  • To monitor material usage by communication with regional office.
  • To coordinate Inter-Store Stock Transfer.
  • To coordinate with FML Division to schedule any critical and urgent delivery.
  • To lead, plan and coordinate Stock Takes activities at all stores, including year-end stock take with Finance Department.
  • To analyse and present stock take results to relevant parties (Manager IM, Regional Manager/Manager/Store Team), and propose/implement action plans to continuously improve stock take discrepancies.
  • To prepare Asset Disposal and Write Off papers related to Stock Take activity.
  • Material cataloger for Electrical and Meter stocks.
  • To perform and work with relevant parties (Region, ICT) to continuously detect and cleanse non-action data, transaction, and material reservation in SAP for effective material planning.
  • To provide advice and guidance in resolving issues arising from Material Planning and Control, as well as Warehouse Operation.
  • To assist Manager IM to develop strategies to improve inventory management processes.
  • To perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATION:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in any discipline or preferred relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software, and forecasting/inventory planning techniques.
  • Knowledge of electrical stocks (added advantage).
