SCOPE OF SERVICES:

• Responsible and accountable for the submission and review of conceptual and detailed engineering design, associated calculations and test reports, and specifications.
• Full time stationed at site and lead resolution of technical difficulties encountered in design and construction related to mechanical / hydromechanical.
• Lead technical meeting, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and other formal meetings/ testing/ inspections as required.
• Ensure projects are completed in compliance with statutory requirements, technical specification, and engineering practices.
• Prepare and compile technical specifications for the new tender.
• Provide technical support for tender evaluation.
• Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for enhancing effectiveness in engineering management.
• Coordinate and resolve mechanical related comments highlighted in reports by Independent Review Panel (IRP), Hydropower Sustainability Assessment Protocol (HSAP) and Hydropower Sustainability Standard (HSS).
• Lead development of mechanical generic specification for future hydroelectric project.
• Perform any other duties as required by the Company from time to time.

THINKING ENVIRONMENT & CHALLENGES (PROBLEM-SOLVING):

• Applying practical engineering solution to challenging ground condition particularly in hydropower project.
• Able to strike a balance in managing project engineering progress and diversified needs from internal stakeholders at times.
• Well verse in statutory requirements and able to lead the liaison with external stakeholders particularly submissions to local authorities.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE (KNOW-HOW):

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-8 years of design experience in mechanical and/or hydromechanical.
