SCOPE OF SERVICES:

• Ensuring compliance in the setup, implementation, and execution of project quality management activities.
• Lead team to plan, implement and execute inspection activities related to 8 Quality Focus Areas.
• Provide training, coaching and guidance for Sarawak Energy\'s staffs and contractors in Welding QC inspections.
• Lead the quality reviews both internally and externally on welding inspection activities, documents and test data.
• Lead team in in Project Technical Assurance (PTA) PQM activities which include conformance quality audits and health checks.
• Supervise and execute MC Walkdown at site to ensure conformance to technical/equipment specifications and contract requirements and to monitor the rectifications due to non-conformances.
• Provide the plan, support and carry out inspection in material, piping and mechanical equipment receiving, fabrication, installation and testing for Combined Cycle Gas Turbine power plant that compromise of Gas Turbine and Heat Recovery Steam Generator System and Balance of Plant System.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE (KNOW-HOW):

• Diploma or Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical)
• Possess Certified Welding Inspector Level 3 (CSWIP or equivalent)
• Must have at least 6 years working experience in project supervision or QAQC Welding Planning and Inspection.
• Possess relevant experience in project quality inspection, monitoring, testing and performance evaluation for piping and mechanical equipment.
• Able to read and understand shop drawings, P&ID, method statement, inspection test plan and able to assess the conformance of work against drawing/specification.
• Able to review and verify welder and welding procedure qualification compliance and review visual and NDT inspection requirement.
• Knowledge in ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System is an added advantage.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to understand and communicate in local language, e.g. Bahasa Iban, Bahasa Sarawak or Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Possesses Class D driving licenses or above.
