Job Responsibilities

• Manage standard cost requests in the cost accounting email inbox; provide timely response and action to resolve issues and close requests;
• Analyze and review Bills of Material (BOM) and standard costs to ensure accurate product costing;
• Design and analyze complex transactions for Cost of Goods Sold, Inventory and Production Order Variances
• Accountable to drive inventory optimization to maximize factory output and inventory turn.
• Complete monthly close responsibilities and Forecast activities related to manufacturing costs, work-in-process inventory, manufacturing accruals and ensuring timeliness and accuracy meeting stringent deadlines;
• Provide support to the business partners (Manufacturing, Order Fulfillment, Supply Chain )
• Perform standard cost rollups on a periodic basis and provide revaluation impact analysis;
• Identify cost accounting process improvements to facilitate scalability and streamlining;
• Work closely with cross functional operations business partners and the Finance teams (Europe, Asia, U.S.) on critical tool shipments, annual operating plans, metrics, cost roll, variance reporting, etc.
• Ensure compliance with SOX 404 internal controls and compile documentation to support requests from internal and external auditors.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or related area;
• 8-10 years of experience in Finance including 5 years of Manufacturing accounting in a manufacturing environment;
• Ability to understand the manufacturing environment and the associated financial processes, experience preferred;
• Ability to effectively analyze transactional level detail in an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, preferably prior SAP experience
• Consistently demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills to collaborate and build positive relationships with other Finance teams as well as other organizations to effectively make recommendations, implement process improvements, etc.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivots/Vlookups, with the ability to manipulate large amounts of data, create models and analyze results with speed and accuracy.
• Action-oriented and solution-driven and able to work in a fast pace environment.
