Job Description


Job Purpose: To analyses and estimate the Project cost at completion by monitoring and evaluating its progress, productivity, or work completion. In addition, he/she shall highlight the key cost variant or movement, timely and accurately. Responsibilities: Establish cost estimate/budget for all works categories under CAPEX for Projects Department. Establish cost phasing for all works with reference to schedule/timeline/progress for WPB and MTP. Populate/calculate VOWD for all awarded contract and re-evaluate the forecast at completion throughout contract execution. Prepare monthly cost reports accurately and timely, it shall include budget, commitment, VOWD, actual expenditure, forecast at completion and variance analysis. Monitor Change Order/Variation Order and Potential Change against budget. Prepare and track contingency drawdown. Prepare all cost related deliverables as per PPGUA/Company Standard Guideline which include but not limited to; Cost Report for MR5, FIR, Project Closeout, AFE, etc. Prepare/monitor the Purchase Requisition for projects via the SAP system and ensure timely approval. Track/monitor the Purchase Order and ensure timely issuance. Review/monitor project invoices/payment and ensure it is input into the SES (Service Entry System) where necessary and follow-up to ensure all approvals are timely in-place. Review and validate proforma invoice and ensure sufficient documents provided. Prepare Invoice and payment tracker at contract level. Comply all governance process and procedure within cost control functionality. Requirements: Candidate must possess minimum of a Professional Certificate or Diploma or Degree in Technical field or equivalent qualification in related field. Approximately five (5) years\' experience as cost controller in Oil & Gas industry. Able to work with minimal supervision. Ability to analyze, interpret and provide accurate data. Motivated individual. Ability to communicate with people at all levels. Ability to work to tight deadlines. Flexible and adaptable to changing environments. Reasonable command of spoken and written English. Advance skills in Microsoft Excel. Well versed with SAP or Cost Management System. Location: SapuraOMV Office, Tower 2, KLCC, Kuala Lumpur. Reporting: This position reports to the Project Services Manager.
