Key Responsibilities
- To perform evaluation and credit decisions in respect of Non Individual Hire Purchase, Enterprise Hire Purchase, Floor Stocking / Block Discounting facilities & related applications received from Auto Finance Centre in line with the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s Credit Policy and Guidelines / Business Rules.
- To ensure timely credit decision and maintain high standard level of asset quality of the customers within credit risk appetite of the bank.
- To ensure the credit decisions are made within personal to holder of the granted delegated authority and to prudently exercise the over-riding of the exception cases. Where necessary, to escalate loan application to higher authority for decision.
- Prepare or co-sign Letter of Offer / Variation / Rejection for Blanket HP / Floor Stocking / Block Discounting facilities.
- To improve efficiency and effectiveness of RCRM-Auto continuously in providing services to AFC in order to meet the standard imposed by the Bank.
- Review and assess appeal cases, customer\xe2\x80\x99s request for change in credit terms, e.g. loan amount, interest rate, period of loan, etc.
- To ensure knowledge and skills are competent through training as well as participation and staff engagement in the department / Bank as a whole.
- Conduct engagement sessions/ training to the ground, to address concerns, resolve problems and to improve the working relationship with front liners and stakeholders
- To support ACS CR, UAT, Production defects and resolution.
- Assist in revision of credit guidelines, SOP and monthly reports.
- Other duties and responsibilities as and when requested by superior.
- Preferably experienced in Credit or Audit.
- Credit experience of minimum 5 years.
- Possess good related credit knowledge covering: -
- (a) Credit and its regulatory framework
- (b) Credit risk management (quantitative and qualitative)
- (c) Principles of Lending
- (d) Loan structuring and administration
