Job Description

-Responsible for pre-opening, setup and smooth operations of kitchen for new and/or existing restaurants - Perform inspection and quality check of raw products delivered by suppliers and ready food to be served to customers -Assist in menu planning, new recipe creation, selection of products, testing and rolling out new menu including but not limited to festive menus, suggested pricing, promotional opportunities etc, to achieve/exceed the expected sales target - Conduct food training, demonstrate new cooking techniques and new cooking equipment to kitchen staff - Monitor preparation and presentation of dishes in ensuring it comply with company specification & quality, food hygiene and safety regulations. - Work alongside Halal Department to supervise strict adherence to policy guidelines set by relevant authorities - Implement SOPs related to kitchen activities Job Requirements: -Diploma or Degree in any fields -Min. 5 years of related working experience in restaurant chain or hospitality industry -Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia sufficiently - Required to work on rotating shift basis which include weekends and public holidays. - Frequent traveling to restaurants within Malaysia is required
