Job Details: Position: Custody Client Executive(Mandarin Speaker) Working Days/Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm (Hybrid) Working Duration: 6 months contract with PERSOLKELLY (renewable based on performance) ..Position will given priority to local candidates that are able to converse in Mandarin to communicate with Chinese clients & vendors. In this role, you\'re expected to: T he role of Custody Client Onboarding Executive is to act as the central point of contact for any Securities Services client account opening activities in APAC. He/she is responsible to support and coordinate implementations of new and incremental securities services custody business, fund managing and mandate restructures. The Custody Client Onboarding is a developing professional role which deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems: Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses\' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams. Key Responsibilities: Planning, executing and tracking completion of client Custody documentation projects Works closely with internal partners to ensure understanding, provide updates of status and ensure accuracy of documents Supports Client Management and Sales as subject matter experts for Custody and China Connect documentation Responsibility for direct client contact Responsible for leading the timely completion of account opening documentation for custody to meet client expectations and timelines. Monitor and track status of multiple client-initiated documentation requests. Facilitate meetings with clients and/or internal partners to review documentation status. Schedule and coordinate activities of internal resources to ensure account openings progress on schedule and within prescribed standards. Follow documentation standards, controls and documentation approval process. Build partnership and strong working relationships with other functional areas in the process . As a successful candidate, you\'d ideally have the following skills and exposure: Bachelor\'s/University degree Knowledge of financial & banking products and operations, especially securities related services including Global/Direct Custody, China Connect Minimum of 2- 3 years in a securities operations/client service role Preferred languages - English, Mandarin, and Cantonese Solid experience of market and custody account opening activities Strong customer orientation and team player Ability to work independently and overtime if needed Good time management, negotiation and communication skills Able to identify issues/risks and escalate where appropriate .
