Customer Service Executive Weir Minerals Batu Caves, Malaysia Onsite
Purpose of Role: As the Customer Service, you will be dealing directly with the customers and building strong relationships in order to best understand their needs and to fulfil demands. The Customer Service executive is responsible for managing all orders handled under Asia region in accordance with company policies and procedures. They will maintain knowledge of Weir products, develop sales quotes, ensure timely shipment and advise customers on order status.

Responsible as the main contact for order entries.
To cross check all orders received, entering the correct value as agreed during negotiation stage and to verify that all commercial terms and conditions, shipping terms, credit and taxes are in accordance with company policies.
Provide timely updates to customers and colleagues.
Able to manage order from entry to delivery by keeping up to date with key personnel across different departments, monitoring the order status and to anticipate any potential cause of delay which may impact delivery.
Able to generate quotations on SAP and to manage any changes requested by the customer.
Able to conduct follow up on quote status.
To follow up on invoice & payment status to clear out overdue debtors.
To provide details of payment from Customer to the Finance team for verification of receipt by the bank.
Able to prepare the related shipping documents for sea and air shipment.
Generate invoices for progress payments and shipment of orders from remote warehouse.
To provide support to the Area Sales managers and Country managers
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
2 years working experience in similar client service role
Degree in any background preferred
Experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
SAP knowledge preferred.
