Job Description


  • Performs routine business processing transactions, which are non-repetitive and may involve independent thinking, including data-entry in system, issuing policy documents and billing premiums based on set guidelines. Involve analysis and investigation during handling the account.
  • Review, evaluate, verify and process work for multinational business. This includes calculation of taxes / adjustments, billing premiums and issuing policies to the client.
  • Communicates, both verbally and/or in writing to Producing Office, Multinational Risk Practitioner, Underwriter or clients to collect information for policy issuances.
  • Organizes and maintains electronic databases. Performs data input and maintenance.
  • Review, investigate and rectify all the rework issue if any.
  • Respond to queries by Clients, Producing Office or Underwriters.
  • Updates Payments for policies and may have to communicate with other departments such as Finance / Accountings and RISO to obtain updated payment information.
  • May also function as trainer for other staff.

  • Responds to general client and broker queries via email and calls.
  • Need to involve with the weekly, monthly call with the business, regional on the outstanding accounts.
  • Preparing reports as and when required by management
  • Willing to work on shift according to the region supported inclusive of working during Malaysia holidays.
  • Fluent in written and oral English communication
Producing Office :
  • Review the accuracy of the information received from Underwriters or Multinational Client Executives
  • Setup the request as per instruction given within stipulated SLA.
  • Able to make decision and advise Issuing Offices, MRP, Account Handler, SPS and Underwriters on how to action or handle certain request or situation either via email or phone call.
  • Communicates in writing or phone with Multinational Risk Practitioner, Account Handler or Underwriter to collect information for the MUST tool or Handoff.
  • Provide weekly report for complex account.
  • Provide weekly escalation on accounts with issue
  • Update unissued report.
  • Monitor the progress of accounts and ensure that it is issued on time by the Issuing Offices.
  • To ensure, all accounts tracking are updated by the Issuing Offices Update and maintain the tracking sheet
  • Perform booking when necessary at Producing Office level.
  • May also function as trainer for other staff.
  • Willing to work on shift according to the region supported inclusive of working during Malaysia holidays.
  • Fluent in written and oral English communication
Qualifications
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
  • Fresh graduates encourage to apply
  • General insurance knowledge/experience preferred
  • Experience in Business Process Outsourcing/Shared Services environment would be an added advantage
  • Good command and comprehension of English (oral and written) is compulsory.
  • Good analytical skills
  • Willingness to demonstrate flexibility and ability to adapt to changing conditions
