Job Description

Job Summary:

Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of all critical infrastructure systems in the data centre, ensuring continuous uptime, system reliability, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and fire protection systems. Monitor data centre infrastructure including power systems (UPS, generators, switchgear), cooling systems (CRAC/CRAH units), and BMS. Troubleshoot equipment failures and respond to emergencies to minimize downtime. Maintain daily logs, reports, and maintenance records. Perform physical inspections of equipment and facilities. Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment or systems. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for maintenance and repair activities. Adhere to safety standards and company protocols at all times.

Requirements:

Diploma or Certificate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in data centre or critical facilities maintenance. Knowledge of UPS systems, generators, chillers, and switchgear. Ability to read technical drawings and operation manuals. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Willing to work on rotating shifts and respond to after-hours emergencies.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
