Where Cloud lives and AI thrives
Support the Head of Facility Management in daily data centre operations by delivering quality facility management and customer service, while mentoring Data Centre Technicians and the 24/7 Technician Team.
What you'll do:
Manage risks, customer requests, contractors, and facility operations to meet NEXTDC standards.
Support Head of Facility Management and oversee outsourced teams.
Plan cabling capacity and act as Facility SME for communications infrastructure.
Assist with equipment handling, maintenance, cleanliness, and incident escalation.
Lead training, improve processes, and develop team skills and engagement.
Produce reports and recommend operational improvements.
About you
Strong customer communication in Bahasa Malay and English; experienced in handling escalations
Effective planning, organizing, and analytical abilities
Knowledge of data centre systems: rack management, IT installs, cooling, and power
Strong expertise in cabling, cable management, and quality assurance
Excellent written and verbal communication
Willingness to learn advanced power and cooling technologies
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Familiar with building management and monitoring systems (desirable)
Relevant electrical/telecom qualifications (desirable)
Some knowledge of ITIL framework
Understanding of Uptime Institute TIER IV standards is a plus
Qualifications
3-5 years' experience in a similar role within a critical facility or data centre
Background and qualifications in Electrical or Telecommunications
Experience leading a team or in a supervisory role
Certificate III in Telecommunications
