Job Description
Title: Data Migration Lead [Text Wrapping Break]Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Type: Full-time | On-site[Text Wrapping Break]
Mandatory: Need Insurance domain experience
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, manage, and execute data migration strategies from legacy to target systems. Define and maintain data mapping, transformation, and validation rules. Lead technical teams through data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading (ETL). Collaborate with business, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure smooth migration execution. Perform data reconciliation, quality checks, and post-migration validation. Manage risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery within timeline and budget. Provide leadership, training, and support to data migration teams and stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 8 to 15 years of experience in data migration, data integration, or data engineering. Hands-on experience with data migration tools, ETL frameworks, and large-scale data environments. Strong knowledge of SQL, data modelling, and database management (Oracle, MSSQL). Experience with ERP or insurance system migrations is highly advantageous. Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
