Job Description

POSITION : Demi_ Chef_ Salary range : RM1800 - RM2500 Benefit: Medical Benefit, Transportation Allowances, Meal Provided, Service Bonus Minimum1-2 years of relevant culinary experience. To fulfill all tasks below relating to operation (but not limited to): \xc2\xb7 Work closely with Chef de Partie \xc2\xb7 Able to run a section of the kitchen on his/her own while ensuring that it runs according to performance standards \xc2\xb7 Maintains a high level of food quality standards, whilst following Menus, Recipe formats, and directions as outlined \xc2\xb7 Following menus, recipe formats, and directions \xc2\xb7 Preparing and cooking food \xc2\xb7 Assisting in all activities in the kitchen \xc2\xb7 Enforce health and safety standards in the kitchen \xc2\xb7 Oversees preparation, cooking and presentation for plates \xc2\xb7 Provide direction to the kitchen helpers, including commis, cooks, kitchen attendants and stewards \xc2\xb7 Ensure that all dishes from that section are prepared consistently and accordingly to standard recipes \xc2\xb7 To ensure minimum kitchen wastage \xc2\xb7 To ensure knowledge of the product is maintained and communicated to all relevant personnel \xc2\xb7 To be responsible for completing mis en place \xc2\xb7 To learn and record skills and recipes from other members of the department \xc2\xb7 To monitor stock movement and be responsible for ordering on your section \xc2\xb7 To be flexible and willing to help the restaurant kitchen at busy times if required Extra : 1.
