\xe2\x80\xa2 Creativity to design new and unique menu items to attract customers \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of how ingredients work together and how they can be used in creative ways \xe2\x80\xa2 Time management skills to deliver orders on schedule and avoiding wasting food \xe2\x80\xa2 Operate and manage the hot section of a kitchen, working together/assist the other party. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare a variety of menu/dishes plating and present the foods in a tasteful and beautiful way \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor and order ingredients, supplies and equipment \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure the hot section of the kitchen adheres to health and safety regulations \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify staffing needs, help to recruit new personnel and train them \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop new seasonal recipes and menus and keep up with the latest trends- \xe2\x80\xa2 Displays a strong commitment, responsible in delivering the best. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proactive and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask and possess a systematic approach to work \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain professional image in communication and appearance \xe2\x80\xa2 Core competencies include organization, preparation as well as time management skills and \xe2\x80\xa2 Proven experience working as a chef or 2 years or more years experiences working within the food industry as a Chef/Assistant Chef, Baker or relevant role. \xe2\x80\xa2 Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking, hot kitchen or relevant field \xe2\x80\xa2 Previous working experience in a Japanese Environment will be an added advantage.
