  • As a Development Coordinator (Pre-Development Work), you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and engaging infographics to effectively communicate complex information and data.
  • Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to understand their requirements and transform data into compelling visual narratives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES\xe2\x80\x8b

Project Planning & Design Development:

a. In charge of the project planning, design development, and cost control within the allocated budget and time:
  • Monitor design review to ensure discrepancies are minimized and in accordance with the specifications.
  • Monitor costing to be within the design budget and the approved budget.
  • Monitor that the timelines are within the allocated timeframe.
  • Collaborate and coordinate meetings with technical and non-technical consultants, vendors, authorities, etc
\xe2\x80\x8bb. Output includes development proposals/papers, formulation of project brief, project workshop, timeliness of drawings submissions and approvals, and cost plan within budget.

Project Pre-Development Monitoring:

a. Plan and execute the overall project monitoring for the assigned projects to meet revenue targets as per the Company\'s Strategic Planning:
  • Monitor and coordinate pre-development works for the project within the time and allocated budget.
  • Identify all risks for the projects.
  • Monitor new business/projects
\xe2\x80\x8bb. Output includes the overall work program, cost plan, and risk management register.

Project Quality:

a. Manage the Project quality for pre-development paperwork to comply with Standard Operating Procedures, quality, specifications and timeline:
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with the Company\'s SOPs.
  • Monitor pre-development projects\' paperwork are meeting to quality specifications and plans.
b. Output includes compliance with company ISOP for pre-development works.

Supply Chain and Contract Management:

a. In collaboration with the Supply Chain Management Team, to manage the contract management for the assigned Projects until the award of the contract within the budget, time, and quality:
  • Coordination with the Supply Chain Management Team on the tender and award of contract processes/matters.
  • Coordination with consultants on technical drawings for all trades (clash analysis).
  • Coordinate the quality of products to meet specifications and drawings.
  • Coordinate and preparation of Preliminary Estimates for Construction Costs and tender documents.
b. Output includes tender workshop, procurement strategy, and memo for additional scope of works for consultants.

Authority Liaison & Compliance:

a. In charge of liaison with relevant authorities, clients, and stakeholders in getting timely approvals for project proposals, technical submission, and authority compliance:
  • Liaise with authorities such as MPKu, TNB, RSAJ, IWK etc.
  • Collaborate with clients such as State Government, Federal Government, and Agencies such as Plan Malaysia, Invest Johor, MITI, MIDA, etc
\xe2\x80\x8bb. Output includes plan submission, development proposals, authority approvals, and supporting letters from authorities.

Undertakes any other tasks and assignments as directed by Management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS\xe2\x80\x8b
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5 years and above of exposure in property development and project management or other relevant experiences
  • Experienced in preparing feasibility studies, reports, papers, and updates regarding property development, compliances, and obtaining management and authorities approvals.
  • Good command of the spoken and written language of Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Good stakeholder management skills and personality.
  • Proactive, go-getter, hardworking, and always willing to learn attitude.
  • Preferably possess own transport
