Job Description

: * Work closely with Chief Sustainability Officer and Head of Group Sustainability to develop CIMB's medium-term sustainability strategies and plans, for deliberation and approval at key forums such as Group Sustainability Council and the board-level Group Sustainability and Governance Committee, keeping abreast of sustainability and sustainable finance (including competitors' and regulators') developments in ASEAN and beyond.

• Lead annual planning and prioritisation of sustainability initiatives at the Group level, working closely with other sustainability leads within Group Sustainability, business units, and business enablers to agree on sustainability related plans and initiatives, along with their success measures.
• Oversee and facilitate timely and effective execution of sustainability initiatives across the Group, through programme governance, facilitation and reporting.
• Manage and facilitate regular deliberation, approval and monitoring of sustainability matters at Board (e.g. Group Board, Group Sustainability and Governance Committee) and Management level (e.g. Group Sustainability Council, Group Transformation Committee), including developing agendas and leading relevant discussions.
• Lead human resource and office management for the Group Sustainability team.
• As a lead within the sustainability team, participate in selected team-wide initiatives such as Green, Social, Sustainable Impact deals, product development, Sustainability Due Diligence, capacity building, as well as representing CIMB in selected external initiatives such as regulatory working groups (e.g. JC3), industry forums (e.g. UNEP FI), speaking engagements, events, etc.
