Leading Sustainable Action Pillar

Lead projects that mitigate CIMB Group's own direct environmental and social impacts arising from our business activities, in line with the Group's sustainability policies and procedures.
Drive and spearhead Group-wide implementation, management and monitoring of initiatives related to:

CIMB's Scope 1, 2 & 3 GHG Emissions
Sustainable Supply Chain and Vendor Engagement on Sustainability
Energy (e.g. energy audits), Water and Waste Management
Diversity & Inclusion
Health & Safety
Spearhead green initiatives such as green energy procurement and investments to meet net zero by 2030 initiatives
Influence and engage senior representatives from relevant Business Enablers to carry out impactful initiatives to minimise negative impacts and maximise positive impacts in CIMB's sourcing, procurement and operations (e.g. resource consumption)
At the forefront of relevant ESG standards, requirements and guidelines and apply the knowledge to proactively identify improvements required
Represent CIMB at relevant sustainability-related conferences and senior stakeholder working groups

For internal governance and internal/ external examination/audit: Responsible in addressing all concerns and requirements of key management, Board, regulators and/or auditors with respect to their functional area of responsibility
