Generate and maintain major accounts and assigned segments through various sales
Meet or exceed assigned monthly booking quota in the assigned market.
Assist in achieving or exceeding budgeted goals in sales, profit, and occupancy for the total hotel operation.
Develop and increase meeting and event business for corporation and manage the key accounts and proactively drive new business.
Plan and execute cost-effective and productive sales trips into assigned territory to improve and increase our penetration of that market.
Qualification and solicitation of existing and new accounts through:
Personal visits
Telephone calls
Sight inspections
Written correspondence
Participation in promotional events
Participation in industry and community events, as well as trade shows
Travel to industry events and sales calls.
Ensure promptly respond to all inquiries, prospects, and tentative or definite business.
Review meeting quotas, goals and forecasts for quality and quantity of room nights.
Ensure thorough and complete coverage of sales team for a comprehensive client service, achieving targets and maximum productivity
Set up all sales objectives, action plans and team's targets
Ensure that selling strategies are adhered to during negotiations and maximize selling opportunities of sales team
Review direct competition and always ensure complete awareness by all sales team of competitor's activities
Consolidate month end sales report applicable information
Be actively involved in the preparation of the marketing plan as requested by superior.
Actively participate in achieving hotel's budgets especially rooms' budget & other incomes
Train, manage, direct, and evaluate teams of marketing and sales personnel.
Oversee and conduct research on product target markets, customer demographics
Develop plans and set targets to ensure sales team meets company sales objectives within a certain market.
Prepare & participate in quarterly business plan meeting & annual business plan meeting.
Ascertain departmental training needs and provide such training.
Direct development and performance of staff; follow up with corrections when needed.
Ability to comprehend P & L, budget reports, and write commentary.
Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental, divisional, and hotel policies, procedures, and standards.
Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly to guests' requests.
Always maintain positive guest relations.
Resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.

Be familiar with all Hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
Monitor performance of staff and ensure all procedures are completed to the department standards; rectify deficiencies with respective personnel.
Accurately report the month-end, year-to -date room night and revenue accounts to the Management.
Report on trends in the industry and local markets.
Budget, plan, and execute cost-effective and productive sales trips prior to your trip.
Accurately forecast all strong tentative and definite groups on an ongoing basis
Plan and execute cost-effective and productive sales trips into your assigned territory, to improve and increase our penetration of that market. Trips to be scheduled in conjunction with established show dates of other events.
To carry out any other duties assigned from time to time by the Management.
