Job Description

In your new role you will: Be managing sourcing capabilities and supply chain for purchase volumes of several hundred million Euro mainly in backend related commodities eg: equipment & spares, direct material and other indirect materials. Handle escalation to suppliers especially on deliveries & quality matters. Manage a team of 9 direct reports and accountable for defined savings and other Procurement KPIs. Responsible for driving locally managed PUR strategies and projects supports driven by segments and cluster functions. Responsible for supplier relationship management while continually sourcing for potential vendors. Your Profile You are best equipped for this task if you have: Bachelor Degree/Master in Business Admin (BA), Economics or Engineering with good BA knowledge and experience. Preferred with minimum of 7-8 years experience in Procurement, business administration or planning function within manufacturing environment. Good knowledge of purchasing/business administration/planning processes, tools and methods. Good interpersonal and negotiation skills is a prerequisite. Operation:- Order process, delivery follow up, vendor portfolio management, payment terms, incoterms, etc. Sourcing:- New product and supplier sourcing, alternate source, change management, etc. Supplier Management:- Supplier Qualification & Improvement, Supplier Evaluation, supplier audit and vendor performance review, etc. Contract Management:- New contract creation, alignment, maintenance and obsoletion. Supply Chain Management:- Inventory management, consignment approach, STL, JIT, etc. Purchasing Methods and Tools:- SAP MM, SES, SIM, Softcon, SAP DMS, Supplier Strategy, Negotiation, etc. Benefits What we offer you in Melaka Melaka is our biggest production site wordwide with more than 7000 employees.
