Job Purpose

1. Uphold the governance on formalisation of Group wide Product Governance and Policies and Procedures via Group Policy & Procedure Oversight Committee (GPOC) and/or Management Product Approval Committee (MPAC)
2. Owner of Group Policy Management Framework and Group Policy Management Framework Procedure as well as the new Management Product Approval Procedures
3. Custodian to Group wide Policies and Procedures

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of Group Policy Management Framework (GPMF) across CIMB Group and entities (including subsidiaries and overseas branches).
• Oversee the implementation of Management Product Approval Procedures
• Review and update GPMF periodically or whenever required.
• Manage the day-to-day operations in respect of broadcasting/publishing of approved P&Ps at Group level.
• Manage Group Policy and Procedure Oversight Committee (GPOC) and Management Product Approval Committee (MPAC) to ensure tabling of completed proposals and minutes are recorded coherently.
• Manage the day-to-day correspondence/queries in GPOC and MPAC Secretariat mailbox
• Advisory role for stakeholders on the submission process for proposals/notifications to GPOC/MPAC.
• Maintain updated Policies and Procedures Register for the Group and/or via the local policies and procedures custodian.
• Advisory role on governance of product governance and policies and procedures.
• Provide directions to direct reports in carrying out their duties.
• Any other ad-hoc assignment as requested by Department Head or Group Head.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor\'s Degree or Professional Qualification in the relevant discipline
• Minimum 15 years work experience with relevant field of audit/compliance/legal related role and of working within the relevant business/ function preferred
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Good command of P&P skill sets.
• Experienced in front line or back office in the banking & finance industry.
• Good leadership, supervisory and management skills.
• Good networking/stakeholder management skills.
• Strong presentation and influencing skills required in guiding and assisting teams.
• A team player.
