Job Description


The EHS Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our operations. We are looking for an experienced professional to lead our HSE initiatives and promote a culture of safety within the organization.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead the investigation of incidents, accidents, and near misses, and ensure appropriate documentation and reporting.
  • Develop and deliver HSE training programs to employees, contractors, and visitors to promote a culture of safety.
  • Monitor and analyze HSE performance metrics, and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that HSE requirements are integrated into all aspects of the company\'s operations.
  • Manage the HSE budget, including the allocation of resources and procurement of necessary equipment.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, industry groups, and other stakeholders to stay informed of changes in HSE regulations and best practices.
  • Oversee the implementation of emergency response plans and conduct regular drills to ensure preparedness.
  • Promote continuous improvement in HSE practices through the identification and implementation of best practices and innovations.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination with global HSE teams to align local practices with corporate standards.
  • Supervise and mentor HSE staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.
  • Manage the company\'s environmental programs, including waste management, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Ensure the maintenance of HSE records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Participate in corporate HSE initiatives and contribute to the development of global HSE strategies.

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in HSE management role, preferably in the manufacturing or chemical industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of local, national, and international HSE regulations and standards.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing HSE policies and procedures.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in using HSE management software and tools.
  • Certification in occupational health and safety is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
