Job Summary

The E&I Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating all Electrical and Instrumentation installation, testing, and pre-commissioning activities at site. This role ensures that works are executed safely, according to approved drawings, specifications, project schedule, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) site activities, including manpower, tools, and materials Ensure E&I works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and other disciplines to ensure smooth work progress Plan and monitor work schedules to meet project milestones Conduct site inspections and ensure quality standards are met Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and conduct toolbox meetings Verify installation of cables, trays, panels, instruments, junction boxes, and earthing systems Coordinate testing, loop checking, and pre-commissioning activities Prepare and submit daily progress reports and site records Assist in resolving site issues and technical queries Ensure proper housekeeping and site discipline Support inspections with clients, consultants, and authorities

Requirements / Qualifications

Diploma or Certificate in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related discipline Minimum [5] years of experience in E&I supervision, preferably in oil & gas, industrial, or plant projects Good knowledge of E&I installation practices and standards Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings Strong leadership and coordination skills Familiar with site safety practices and permit-to-work systems Good communication skills in English (spoken & written) Willing to work at site and long project durations

Added Advantage

Experience in pre-commissioning and commissioning support Experience managing subcontractors and multi-skilled workforce Relevant certifications (Chargeman, Safety Passport, etc.)
