Oversee the day-to-day workflow of the injection moulding machines and the subsequent manual or automated assembly lines.

Monitor and manage the production flow to ensure daily and weekly output targets are met, ensuring

Resource Allocation:
Efficiently allocate and manage manpower, machinery, and materials to maximize utilization and output (OEE).
Process Monitoring:
Regularly check and verify machine operating parameters (temperatures, pressures, cycle times) to ensure both moulding and assembly processes adhere to established
Control Plans
and work instructions.
Machine Setup/Troubleshooting (Executive Level):
Assist with or oversee mould setting, process adjustments, and basic troubleshooting of injection moulding machines to resolve common defects (e.g., flash, short shots, warpage) and minimize downtime.
II. Quality Control and Improvement
In-Process Quality Checks:
Conduct regular in-process checks and initial inspections of moulded parts and final assembled products to ensure compliance with dimensional and visual quality specifications.
Defect Analysis:
Identify, analyze the root cause (using tools like 5 Whys), and implement corrective actions for quality-related issues in both moulding and assembly.
Scrap Reduction:
Actively participate in and drive continuous improvement (CI) initiatives (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, 5S) to reduce scrap, improve cycle time, and enhance overall efficiency.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate production records, process sheets, daily output reports, and quality non-conformance reports.
III. Team Leadership and Safety
Staff Guidance:
Provide guidance, instruction, and basic on-the-job training to operators and technicians on the production floor.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations (HSE) and company policies within the department.
Housekeeping:
Enforce
5S
principles and good housekeeping practices to maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
IV. Coordination and Liaison
Inter-Departmental Coordination:
Act as a key liaison between the production floor and supporting departments, including

Prepare and submit accurate production reports (e.g., output, scrap rate, downtime) for management review.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Qualifications
Education:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Polymer Technology, or a closely related technical field).
Experience (Executive):
Typically 2-3+ years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Direct, hands-on experience with
Plastic Injection Moulding
is essential.
Experience (Assistant):
Fresh graduates with a relevant technical degree are often considered for the Assistant level.
